Visit with the History Department of Texas A&M-Commerce

Today we announce our farthest participant in this year’s DFW Archives Bazaar – Texas A&M University-Commerce Department of History!

Texas A&M University-Commerce, as a part of the A&M family of universities, will become the university of choice for all those seeking a higher education in the Northeast Texas region and beyond. Texas A&M University-Commerce provides a personal, accessible, and affordable educational experience for a diverse community of learners.

The Department of History creates courses that develop skills that prepare students to become responsible citizens, by acquiring historical knowledge, learning to interpret complex sources of information, and thinking critically about the relationship between the past and the present. Through the process of learning these skills, students gain an appreciation of the cultural diversity that shapes the world around us.

We are excited to have Texas A&M University-Commerce Department of History join us for the 2019 DFW Archives Bazaar. Come talk to them Saturday, November 2, from 1-5pm at Greater Denton Arts Council Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, in Denton, TX.
