DeGolyer Library of SMU Libraries is the latest participant of this year’s DFW Archives Bazaar!
DeGolyer Library is the principal repository at SMU for special collections in the humanities, the history of business, and the history of science and technology. The Library offers fellowships; sponsors lectures, conferences, and social events; hosts graduate and undergraduate classes; regularly mounts exhibitions for the public; and publishes catalogues, checklists, finding aids, and other works that interpret its holdings and make them more readily accessible. DeGolyer Library holds 150,000 rare books, over 2,500 separate manuscript collections, about 900,000 photographs, approximately 3,000 early maps, over 2,000 periodical and newspaper titles, and a sizable collection of printed ephemera as well as the SMU Archives and the Archives of the Women of the Southwest.
We are excited to have them join us!
Learn more about DeGolyer Library by visiting their booth at the DFW Archives Bazaar at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1-5pm. See you there!
