Our next participant in this year’s DFW Archives Bazaar is Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture.
The mission of the Old Red Museum is to inspire and educate people with the rich cultural, economic, political and social history of the Dallas County area, showcasing the many cultures that together have formed the Dallas of today.
Built in 1892, the beautifully restored Old Red Courthouse contains some of Dallas County’s most fascinating historical artifacts. There is a special exhibit gallery located on the first floor, while the second floor of Old Red is filled with exhibits, interactive touch screen computers, an educational learning center and four mini theaters.
Visit the Old Red Museum at their booth to learn more about their work and collections, at the DFW Archives Bazaar on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1-5pm at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park.
