The City of Irving Brings Its Collections to Dallas

The Irving Archives and Museum will be a participant in this year’s DFW Archives Bazaar. They want to show off the materials that document the history of Irving and the plans for the museum’s future. The City of Irving’s Museum System includes the Irving Archives, Ruth Paine House Museum, Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center, and the Mustangs of Las Colinas Sculpture and Museum. Opening in 2019, the Irving Archives and Museum (IAM) will be the central hub of Irving’s museum system and will feature the city archives, the Story of Irving permanent exhibit, a temporary exhibit gallery, a Smithsonian Spark!Lab, and a community space featuring different cultural activities and exhibits throughout the year.

Learn more about the Irving Archives and Museum by visiting their booth at the DFW Archives Bazaar at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1-5pm. See you there!
